Dr. Schlarman has been practicing general surgery in St. Louis since 1990. He is board certified in General Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Schlarman is married, has two children, and enjoys woodworking, canoeing, and photography in his spare time. For exercise he plays a little racquetball and golf, both only at a social level.
